Cool White LED bulbs.
Modern LED light bulbs are becoming more fashionable. The reason being modern living is very popular. Clean lines through your home, open plan living, fresh white and grey colours for decoration. You wouldn't want to go to all the effort of creating a wonderful living space and not care about the bulbs lighting your home up! Modern LED bulbs give off a more white/blue effect when illuminated, this complements the modern look great. Ensuring you keep the fresh, desired look you are going for.
A question you need to ask yourself is what room are they going to be in? For a kitchen, if you have downlights fitted you will want to go for a GU10 or MR16 bulb to fit the fitting, with a colour temperature of 4000k. Additionally, you might have normal cap light fittings (BC or ES) in that case you will want to go for a good quality LED bulb such as Philip Master.
For modern LED bulbs you’re looking between 4000k-6500k in colour temperature. This will ensure you get the modern affect you are looking for.
For other rooms in your house, it is important you consider the light level you want to achieve. For example, if you have many lamps and a ceiling fitting you don't want to put high output light bulbs in all the fittings you might choose to put a lower output bulb in the ceiling and slightly higher output light bulbs in the lamps.
