How long do cool white LED bulbs last?
The life expectancy of the lightbulbs in this collection vary, but all cool white LED bulbs last significantly longer than their fluorescent or incandescent counterparts. Some bulbs have a life expectancy of 25000 hours. Others have a life expectancy of 30000 hours.
What is cool lighting?
Cool light is much brighter than warm light. If used in the wrong setting, it may create a harsher effect than intended. Lighting with a Kelvin of 3000 - 4500 is classed as cool lighting. Light with a Kelvin temperature higher than this is considered to be natural lighting. Cool white light contains more blue than warm light.
What is cool lighting used for?
Cooler lightbulbs make a great addition to hallways, living rooms, kitchens and home offices. They may also be installed in the bedroom but should be used more sparingly in this setting. Stick to lighting with a lower lumen output.
